Over 30 Years of Wildlife Travel .....
For over 30 years, Mike has travelled the world in a quest for unforgettable encounters with wildlife and stunning photographs of the natural world.   And, for more than a quarter of a century, he has shared his passion for wildlife with others through his photography, writing, lecturing and, most notably, his tour-leading and safari-guiding.  Many hundreds of people have enjoyed wildlife tours with Mike and Conde Nast Traveller magazine identified him as one of the world’s top wildlife travel specialists.

More Than 100 African Safaris ....
Having completed more than 100 African safaris, Mike is, not surprisingly, best known as a safari guide and his wildlife tours to Africa have been hugely popular for many years.  However, Mike’s expertise is by no means limited to Africa and he has led numerous wildlife groups to many other parts of the world, including Antarctica, Asia, mainland Europe and Latin America.

Award-winning Photography ....

Mike is an award-winning wildlife photographer whose images have been published in books and magazines around the world.  A selection of nature photographs from Mike’s travels can be found in the Photographic Gallery, along with some of his images of British wildlife.

Successful Author ....
Author of two successful and popular books, Birds in the Garden and Flights of Imagination, Mike has also written many feature articles about wildlife, ornithology, conservation, travel and Africa.  These have been published in a variety of magazines and newspapers including Wildlife, Bird Watching, Birds Illustrated, RSPB Magazine, Country Life, The Independent, The Guardian and The Observer.

Illustrated Talks and Lectures....
Mike is a very experienced speaker and gives illustrated wildlife talks to a wide range of audiences.  Receiving invitations from a variety of organisations, he is frequently invited back for repeat visits. He has also appeared many times on television and radio.
